Yet another feature won’t make it with Windows 10 Fall Creators Update

At Build 2017, Microsoft announced next Windows 10 major update aka Windows 10 Redstone 3 aka Fall Creators Update. The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update packs with so many new features and tons of enhancements.

About couple of month ago we reported that the “Timeline” feature delayed which ‘was’ the part of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. And yet another feature will not make it to Fall Creators Update. Story Remix feature won’t be showing up completely with Redstone 3, some of its functionality will be missing.

Specially the 3D features won’t be available. In other words, the ability to import 3D objects and effects to the story will not be available. Even these features are not available for the Windows Insiders also. And Microsoft is at the final stage of Fall Creators Update development. So it’s quite obvious to that they are not looking forward to add new feature rather than focusing on to improve stability and bug fixes.

3D object in Windows Story Remix is the core functionality of the feature. But it’s not ready for the public roll out yet, report says these feature still need improvements. It is possible that Microsoft could launch this feature for the Windows Insider in the Skip ahead ring in upcoming month. But for production ring user it will be available with the Windows 10 Redstone 4 which is scheduled for later this year (March – April 2018).

In case if you don’t know Windows Story Remix feature allow users to create a short video clip right from existing photos and videos. User will also able to add different cinematic transitions effects, text and soundtracks, themes and more. Story Remix uses Microsoft Graph to automatically create Memories with your photos and videos.
