Windows 10 now powering 500 million active devices worldwide

At the day 1 keynote of Build 2017, Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella has announced that Windows is now powering 500 million active devices all around the world.

Corporate Vice President of Microsoft also recently announced that the OS was being used by 300 million users every day for at least 3.5 hours and it is very impressive by itself. Furthermore, Nadella talked about the three major products: Windows, Azure, and Office are offering more than a billion opportunities to developers to connect their innovations with Microsoft’s customers.

At the Build 2017 event, The Company is also announced some major new Azure services, as well as some updates to Office and its work on Artificial Intelligence.

Since its initial launch, Windows 10 the growth has been slowed down, but having 500 million monthly active devices .

However, most of the enterprise customers of company are still using Windows 7, but once they decide to use the Windows 10, the growth of the Windows 10 will surely increase. Though it will take time to make a switch to user. But the number of users will surely increase in upcoming years and company commitment to OS.
