Timeline feature making its way to Windows Insiders with next build

Earlier this year, at Build 2017 Microsoft demonstrated all new Timeline feature. This feature was a part of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, but for some reason it delayed. But today Microsoft sent out an email to Windows Insiders confirming that it is coming to the Windows Insiders on the Fast Ring with next build.

In case if you don’t know, Timeline feature in Windows 10 make it easier to keep track of things on which you are working on. Consider it as a visual timeline of apps you are working on your device. This feature work with Windows 10’s Pick Up Where You Left Off feature and allow users to sync their work across the Windows 10 devices.

You will see a visual timeline integrated directly into Task View so you can easily move back and forth into files, apps, and sites as if you never left. So, the timeline feature is an advance version of Windows 10’s task view.

Along with this feature, upcoming windows 10 insider preview builds will also include couple of big features. A new Clipboard feature will allows you a fast and easier way to copy – paste content across the connected device. You can copy a photo, link, text, document, even gifs too – and it will be available to paste into another device.

Microsoft is assured to add 2 new big features (Timeline ans Sets) to Windows 10 Redstone 4. However no pinky promise! Because next major update is scheduled for April 2018.
