Surface Pro LTE is still on track! Coming this holiday


You might heard news about Microsoft delayed the Surface Pro LTE version. Reports are going around that Microsoft quietly updated FAQ section in Microsoft Store for the new Surface Pro which reveal that LTE model won’t be available until spring 2018. But…?

Now, Microsoft completely removed that question from the FAQ. And we also confirmed with our sources that Surface Pro LTE is still on track which means it will be available this holiday season. In addition Microsoft is planning to hold Future Decoded conference in London later this month. At the conference Microsoft hardware chief Panos Panay will deliver a keynote and reveal the Surface Pro LTE.

In case if you missed it, At Ignite 2017 conference, company revealed more details about this upcoming LTE version of Surface Pro. Surface Pro LTE will be available in 2 different models, one with Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD and the other with Intel Core i5, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD. The LTE version of Surface Pro will be based on Qualcomm X16 Gigabit Class LTE modem which will deliver up tp 24 hours of battery life.

Furthermore, in a statement to Neowin, company also revealed that “Always Connected PCs” are also on the track which will be available later this year. We are expecting that the company will announce more details about it at Future Decoded event in London.
