Microsoft just rolling out a new update to the Outlook Mail and Calendar app for the Windows 10 Mobile devices. The latest update bring many new cool UI enhancements along with other fixes and improvements.
The first noteworthy change for UI found in the notification area. They added the quick action option right in the notification area. That means you can now mark any emails as read, set flag, delete or archive any email right from the action center notification area. You can change the Quick Action from Settings >> Quick Actions for the respective accounts.
Well in case if you are wondering weather the app got any glimpse of Project NEON aka the Fluent Design System then you might get disappointed. The latest update didn’t bring any effect of it. Talking about the Outlook Calendar app then there is no noteworthy changes in this update.
Furthermore, the latest update also bring some general bug fixes and they also improved the overall performance of the app. Here take a note that some Windows Insiders reported the update is available for them, but one of my Lumia on production branch got the same update. The latest version 17.8241.40726.0 have this functionalities.
You can go ahead and grab the latest update form the Windows Store. And do let us know in a comment below if you find any other major improvements in the latest update. Stay tune to Insiders Arena for more update.
