Microsoft is testing 4K video content for Movies & TV on Xbox One S (no Blu-ray discs!)


Microsoft is testing couple of exciting new feature for the Xbox One S. Microsoft is working on to deliver the 4K videos for Movies & TV via Windows Store on Xbox One S console. This feature will be a part of the Fall Creators Update.

Many Xbox One S users who are part of the Xbox Insider Program reported that they have a quest in Feedback Hub app, which take user to Windows Store and and download a short 4K video clip from the Pacific Rim movie. And later on they are asking user for feedback.

If you have a 4K monitor / TV and Xbox One S and if you are part of the Xbox Insider Program then you can checkout this new quest from Feedback Hub app, then go ahead to Windows Store and search for the “Tkn Tst 2”. (If you don’t find anything then make sure you are on the latest Insider build). Then hit play button and enjoy a short 4K video clip form Pacific Rim movie. Since, the E3 2017 is right around the corner. So company will likely to unveil this feature along with their Hybrid Reality Game at the event. Company also announced that they Xbox to get support for keyboard so company is likely to demonstrate this at E3 2017.We will soon hear more information regrading this in upcoming week.
