Microsoft Teams updated with more collaborative features

In 2017, Microsoft introduced some collaborative features for the Microsoft Teams and now another major update is rolling out for Office 365 Education users. The update make it easier to collaborate with OneNote and bring some IT control feature. This update is completely based on the feedback of educators.

With the latest update teachers and staff members will be able to access Class Notebook and Staff Notebook Settings right in the app. They also introduced individual settings for each teachers and staff members which allows them to manage “Teacher-Only section groups, adding new sections, and locking the Collaboration Space” and more.

Furthermore they also introduced a new full screen view. It will hide the pages and section area and delivers full screen editing experience as expected. In addition you can now edit Class and Staff Notebook right from the browser. Another notable new feature is that when a teacher create an assignment it will now be automatically saved. They also added ability to export grades form Microsoft Teams as .CSV files.

The update also includes couple of IT Administrator control feature. IT admins can now enable or disable private chat at the license level and more. Microsoft also reveal some upcoming feature in Microsoft Teams. The next major update is scheduled for October 2017 which also includes many new features and enhancement.
