Microsoft Store update with significant design improvement


Microsoft is rolling out a new update to Windows eh? Microsoft Store for the Windows Insiders. The update is available for both PC as well as Mobile devices. And not only in fast ring but also for the Windows Insiders in the Release Preview Ring.

The latest update of Microsoft Store bring some major design changes to the app. Microsoft Store v11710.1000.94.0 bring revamped Fluent Design experience along with other changes. You will notice acrylic and reveal effect in the hamburger menu, app page as well as on settings page.

Furthermore they have also added ability to turn off auto play trailers on app, game and movie page. In addition, if you looks sharply you will notice improved fonts and animations. The fluent design elements on mobile device looks more classy. The side menu on mobile device looks just fascinating. Of course apart from these notable changes the update do include general bug fixes and overall performance improvements.

You will notice a small delay when you open the hamburger menu specially on the low-end mobile devices (1 GB RAM). It’s because of the reveal effect of the Fluent Design element. Hopefully they will fix this before the public roll out. And in case if you are wondering this update is rolling out in phase so you won’t see it right now.
