In case if you don’t know the Windows 10 have a built in backup functionality which allows you to restore you files and folders in case if they deleted, damaged or lost. But it looks like Microsoft is removing File History backup feature with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.
The File History backup feature is very useful if you want to transfer your files from one PC to another, or lost files during creating new user, or when you perform a clean install. Couple of days ago Microsoft accidentally released a internal build to the Windows Insider in the Fast ring. Well of course this build totally freak out Windows Insider team. Though, later on they explained why and how this happened. They also provided solution to roll back to previous version and keep your device safe. But…?
The latest build doesn’t have any notable new features and improvements but doesn’t include that File History feature. If you head over to the Settings app >> Update & Security >> Backup you will find this feature. But now they are going to remove it. This feature also allows you to create a backup.
It is possible that the Microsoft introduce all new back up and restore section with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. And since this build is not for public then we can say that company already aware of it and will add this feature for any further public preview builds. Don’t worry we will keep you up to date about it. Till that stay tune to Insiders Arena for more updates.
