Microsoft releases Windows 10 Mobile Fall Creators Update

After PC, Microsoft has officially started rolling out Windows 10 Fall Creators Update for Mobile devices for the production ring. Brandon LeBlanc, Senior Program Manager at Microsoft confirmed that Microsoft started roll out of Windows 10 Mobile Fall Creators Update on October 17 (but only in Finland).

Now, the update is rolling out to everyone via a phased roll out. Just like Windows 10 Fall Creators Update for PC the Windows 10 Mobile Fall Creators Update is also rolling out in phases, that means you might not actually see the update instantly. It will take up to couple of days, a week or more to show up on your device.

Here it’s worth to mention that Windows 10 Mobile Fall Creators Update doesn’t bring any notable new changes or improvement. 🙁 Even Microsoft officially declared that the Windows Phone is no longer priority for them. However company will continue to support the platform for a year or so by releasing the security patches and general fixes.

However so far, the Windows 10 Mobile Fall Creators Update will bring a updated version of emoji which also include number of new emojis. Furthermore, they also added Chinese Lunar Calendar. That’s all for eye catchy changes, though update do include some under-hood changes and performance improvement.
