Microsoft have no plan for Surface Pro 5 ‘Yet’


Microsoft to hold annual developer conference Build 2017 on May 10 – 12, 2017 in Seattle, WA. Since company just launched a new product in under Surface brand, Surface Laptop, so they don’t have any plan to launch a Surface Pro 5 anytime soon.

However as we know that the Microsoft also holding a special hardware event on May 23 in Shanghai, but still we are not expecting a new Surface hardware from the company. But there is a possibility that they refurbish Surface Pro 4.

From the last couple of years, the Surface hardware including Surface Studio, Surface Book has brought Microsoft a lot of praise and revenue. The latest devices under surface brand, Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book gets widespread success. Impressive hardware, premium design and Windows 10, made Surface device a great product.

Recently in an interview with the man behind the Surface, Panos Panay said that “… current Surface Pro was enough for the people. When it’s meaningful and the change is right, we’ll put it on market…  So, that means Microsoft have no plans to launch a new Surface Pro line up hardware. Not just yet.
