Microsoft to launch new Surface device at Future Decoded event in London next month

Microsoft is holding it’s annual Future Decoded event in London from October 31st to November 1st. Microsoft’s Corporate VP of Devices Panos Panay will deliver a keynote at this enterprise focused event.

From a while we are hearing rumors that Microsoft has to be working on next generation of Surface Book. However this year Microsoft already introduced 2 products under Surface brand: Surface Laptop and Surface Pro. But we are still expecting another new Surface device from the company by the end of this year.

It is expected that Microsoft could launch Surface Pro LTE version alongside a successor of Surface Book or Surface Hub. But last year at WinHEC Microsoft partnered with Qualcomm to bring ARM-powered Windows 10 devices by the end of 2017. And as per the recent report this device is right on the track. However we are not so sure whether Microsoft will create its own ARM powered Surface device.

There is not much information about new Surface Book available right now. Whether company is planning for a minor changes or something bigger? Since it’s been almost 2 year since company launched Surface Book we are expecting that there will be some major upgrade in device.

Mysterious Surface Phone/Ultimate Mobile device? Microsoft is still on mobility area, but a new smartphone is far far away, since Andromeda OS (special version of Windows 10) is still on the early stage of development.
