Microsoft to bring Video Playback with Windows 10 Fall Creators Update


Last week, Microsoft accidentally released internal build to the Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring. However the Windows 10 Build 16211 quickly pulled out but many Windows Insiders was able to download and install it. Though which was not recommended by company.

Windows 10 Build 16212 had number of new features and enhancements over the last public preview build which was 16199. The build bring a new customization option to the Windows 10 users called “Video Playback”. If you are on the build 16212 then head over to Settings app >> Personalization you will find a new option right after the Themes.

Simmer down, simmer down. It crashed. Didn’t it? I know! same thing will happen again. Microsoft is adding Video Playback option for the Personalization.¬†Our source confirmed that the Microsoft working on to bring Video Playback feature in Windows 10 for a while and now it looks like it’s ready for the public roll out.

Bringing the Video Playback feature means user will have an ability to set live wallpaper or small video as the desktop background. It would be great if we have same feature for the Lock Screen. Source also confirmed that the this feature will fully implemented with the upcoming preview build. And it will be available to production version user with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

Furthermore, Microsoft also planning to bring the Windows Phone’s Keyboard to the Windows 10 PC and tablet. They will launch a new app for it named Microsoft Text Input Application. The Microsoft Text Input will be a simple keyboard in Windows 10 mainly focused for tablet users who use the on-screen keyboard. New keyboard in Windows 10 will also support swipe input, just like the Windows Phone keyboard.
