Microsoft announces .NET Standard 2.0 for UWP and XAML Standard


During 2nd keynote of Build 2017, Microsoft speaks about their major updates like fall creators update,  officially declares project NEON, about bringing iTunes to Windows Store and in addition, Microsoft also announces their newly cross-platform support by .NET STANDARD 2.0 which will be very helpful for UWP & .NET developers as well as c++ developers to work with Windows.

Newly introduced .NET STANDARD 2.0 will also support UWP and XAML standards. hence, it’ll change the developers view about developing cross platform apps. as we all know nowadays XAMARIN which is also Microsoft Product that highly supports Cross-Platform developing.

They also revealed that .NET Standard 2.0 for UWP is coming later this year and that will allow developers to bring more apps to Universal Windows Platform.
