At the first day of the Build 2017 event Microsoft talked all about Azure and Cloud. The Azure Cloud Shell will soon complement the IDE and also to the Azure Portal. Basically this offers an authenticated, browser-based shell experience hosted in Azure.
In addition with the intelligent chat-bots in Skype, Bing and Cortana Microsoft also released the Azure apps for the iOS and Android platform. With the all new Azure mobile app user can manage their Azure Cloud and more. In addition the Azure Mobile app also have integration of the Azure Cloud Shell.
Later on they also announced that they are also working on the UWP Azure app for Windows 10 devices. Since Azure is the cloud based service, it handles updating Cloud Shell with commonly used command line tools and support for multiple popular programming languages.
In addition, each Cloud Shell session provides a ready-to-use environment automatically synced to a $Home directory that is stored in Azure to enable persisting files. We’ll soon hear more information about it from company, till than stay tune to Insiders Arena for more updates.
