Game gifting feature now available for Xbox Insiders

Microsoft rolling out a new update to the Xbox Insider in the Alpha ring which includes couple of new features and enhancement over the last public preview build. With this latest update one of the most awaited and excited feature is now available for the Xbox Insiders.

After the public release of Fall Creators Update for Xbox now company started working on next major update. And as apart of the first 1711 build they added bunch of new features and some serious performance improvements including in Xbox dashboard.

Microsoft finally introduced the highly requested features on Xbox. Initially, the digital game gifting feature shown up to selected insiders earlier this month. Digital game gifting feature will allow users to distribute Xbox One games to friends over Xbox Live. Basically it will send a redeemable code to your friends via email.

From now on you will see an option to buy a game as a gift in Store. As per the change-log of the update “there are some minor restrictions to gifting to prevent abuse of the system” but so far this is an easiest way to give a treat to your gamer friend.

With the latest update you can finally take a back up of your settings on cloud which also includes TV & OneGuide settings. This backup on cloud feature will help users to switch Xbox easily. Furthermore, Xbox app for iOS and Android makes it easier to setup up your Xbox One X, you can now setup Xbox One X using your mobile device.
