Microsoft rolling out an update to Outlook Mail and Calendar app for the Windows 10 Mobile users. The update is available for Windows Insider in the Release preview ring. Update finally bring support for the Focused Inbox.
Focused Inbox let user prioritize important mails in the Outlook Mail app. Earlier this year Microsoft introduced Focused Inbox for Windows 10 PC. Later on they brought this feature to Universal Windows Platform Outlook Mail app. It wasn’t available for Windows 10 Mobile.
But now finally Windows 10 Mobile users in Release Preview Ring are reportedly getting Focused Inbox on the Outlook Mail app right now. The update is only rolling out to Windows Insiders on the Release Preview ring, but some Fast Ring insiders also getting this feature.
This feature divide your emails in 2 categories named “Focused” and “Other”. Focused tab includes all the import emails from the person whom who you interact with most often. Focused Inbox is based on the content of the email. While Other tab includes pramotion, daily newsletter, auto-generated mail. User can also move any email from Other to Focus and vice versa to fine-tune mailbox.
You might not see this feature right now, because update does seem to be gradual. But eventually you will get it in upcoming days or weeks. You can get the latest update of Outlook Mail & Calendar on your Windows 10 Mobile from here via Windows Store.
